Asbestos Fibres

Most common asbestos fibres used in construction.

Asbestos Fibers Properties

Asbestos Fibres of a concern have dimensions of 0.01-0.2 μm and 0.2-3.0 μm in width and 5.0-9.0 μm with the L/W ratio 3.

As an example of the most common asbestos minerals like Chrysotile with the mineral formula Mg3Si2H4O9 Mg3(Si2O5)(OH)4 H4Mg3O9SiCrocidolite Asbestos Fe2H16Mg3Na2O24Si8

With the PCM magnification up to 500x it is possible to count an asbestos fibres with the width 0.2 μm
